SEPTEMBER GUEST DESIGNER: ANNA S!

Hey - 2 posts in one day!! Woohoo!

I am excited to announce our guest designer for September, ANNA!!! Anna has been a member of PersonalScrapper for a few years and I have got the chance to meet her! She was one of our Survivor Finalists and is an outstanding scrapbooker! I love the variety of her layouts and she always does such a great job of journaling! Thank you Anna for designing for us this month!!

Here is a bio from Anna:
I've been scrapping now for about 12 years. I first started out after I attended a stamping party for Close to my Heart (formerly DOTS). I can hardly bear to look at some of my old pages! But I don't have the time to go back and re-do. I have so many pictures to wade through as it is. My love of scrapbooking evolved from my love of photography. I took photojournalism in high-school and just loved working in the darkroom. Well, now I love tinkering with my photos in Photoshop Elements, and the focus of my scrapbooking has really gotten back to the photos. I have over 30 scrapbooks in my house and really love seeing how my style has evolved. I've been really challenged here at Personal Scrapper to go beyond what I normally would have done before and am so thankful for all the inspiration and the great feedback. Thank you Erica for the opportunity to be guest designer!

Here are her creations:

FALL IN LOVE WITH SEPTEMBER'S KIT!!

September is here! Yay! As much as I love summer, I think FALL is way up there too! Back to a normal routine! What better way to kick it off then with this fabulous kit! We are using the new Fancy Pants All FALL papers. I LOVE them! I was able to do 6 layouts (and have done 2 more last night!). Their chipboard shapes are a fun embellishment and I also got a lot of use out of the stickers and brads!

Here are my layouts with this kit (so far):

August is here!!

Wow - August is here! I have realized today that I feel like I am on a teacher's work schedule. When the boys are on Summer Vacation, I feel like i am on it too. It is much harder to get work done and be on the computer with 3 busy boys! We are having a great summer though. I love how many fun things we get to experience together! We have already camped 4 times this year and have a long one coming up. I am excited to spend one camping weekend with friends and one with family. Of course this means lots more photos!

Our August kit is up! I loved this October Afternoon paper. We mixed a few different lines. This is definitely one of those companies where you have a hard time choosing between the front side or back side! I LOVE their journaling cards! One side is a journaling card (which are all very versatile) and the back side is a coordinating pattern if you choose not to use the front side.

Needless to say, I scrapped some of my camping photos :)

All of these pictures are from Belnap Springs outside of Springfield.

JULY GUEST DESIGNER: AMY!!

Our Guest Designer for July was Amy (Amyinky as a lot of us know her). She has been a great presense on our message board for 2 years, was a final 6 Survivor and is a AWESOME scrapbooker!

I love to see her layouts each month! This month I think she may have broke a designer record by doing 10 layouts this month in a short 4 days!!! Every month Amy amazes me with the amount and quality of her layouts! I have loved getting to know her!

Here is a little bio from her: I've been scrapping since January 2000 and first became a member of Personal Scrapper in May 2005. I really think the monthly kits started the transformation of my scrapping style. Since becoming active on the message board, I know I have really evolved as scrapper (and photographer). I love the ideas that everyone shares and the crops really stretch my creativity. I love capturing everyday moments and also scrapping traditional events for our two sons. My husband also appreciates the memories inside my many scrapbooks. I really enjoyed using the July kit and want to thank Erica for asking me to guest design this month. I hope my layouts will inspire others to pull out some pictures and start creating!

Here are her layouts. They are all great but I think my 2 favorites are the top 2 (So Happy Together and Friend). If you look closely you will see she hand stitched friend (AMAZING!):

Please leave a comment for Amy!!

JUNE GUEST DESIGNER: ADDIE

Addie is our featured Guest Designer for June. She was one of the final 6 Survivors from the PersonalScrapper.com Survivor Game! I have had the opportunity to meet Addie a few times and she is super sweet! One of these days we will get to scrap together! She has a great group of scrapping friends too! (Hi Girls!).

I knew this kit would be a great one for Addie. I know she is a Scenic Route fan and there were some really cool parts to this kit for the outdoors!

Here is a little bio about Addie:

Hello Everyone! I hope you enjoy this months kit! Scenic Route is my favorite and I had a hard time not wanting to use certain papers! I have a lot left and hope to get a few more layouts done this month! I guess you can say I like to save the kit for future photos and I can never just sit down and use up a kit!

A few scrappy things about me:
*I started scrapping 13 years ago.
*My main subjects are my son Gabe, our family outings and our 4 dogs.
*I have been with PS for 2.5 years. I signed up after seeing a friends kit and had to have it! *All my friends get PS kits, we share layout ideas and product from the kit!
*I have a scraproom that I would love to spend more time in and that I really need to clean!
*I love PS, the message board and all you gals! Thanks for having me as Guest Designer this month!

Here are a few of Addie's creations this month. Please leave a comment for her!

With add-on:
Boy Addie - I had a hard time picking a favorite! I love the photo in the Waikiki one. I love love your Girls Can Fish Too layout! I really like how you placed the letters on the hummer one.
