Here are our challenges for this month to help you get your scrapping going:
1. 2008 - Do a layout(s) recapping 2008. This could even be a layout displaying your favorite photos, events, etc. of 2008.
2. WINTER - Scrapbook a winter layout. Whether your winter consists of snow or sun, we want to see your winter :)
3. SNOWFLAKES - Use snowflakes in your layout. They can be the chipboard from the kit, punches, stickers or even paper! You can get creative and make the snowflakes be something else such as flowers, etc.
4. HOBBY MONTH - January is National Hobby Month. Create a layout about one or more of your hobbies or they can be about someone else's hobbies (your kids, parents, husband, etc.)
I have posted separate threads for each challenge in the Personalscrapper forums/contests section and we will randomly choose 4 winners on January 31. If you are a winner and you used a PersonalScrapper kit in your layout, you win some extra January goodies too. You can enter as many layouts as you want, as long as they fit in the category.

We have combined Making Memories and Basic Grey this month. It is a fun combination with loads of embellishments!

Little Family Mini Book using November kit....
Here is a little project I whipped up on Saturday afternoon. It is using the 8x8 Scenic Route album and the November kit/add-on. This paper has quadrants on the back of the paper so it made it easy to mix different papers/patterns in this book :)
This is fun! It gets me motivated to do more scrapping and maybe do some mini albums for Christmas!

NOVEMBER REVIEW
This was a super fun line to use for a November kit! It is bright colors and fun patterns! I love their 2-sided papers, it really stretches my kit!!!
I loved the bright orange pumpkins so I wanted to keep this one simple!
My niece's shirt had the perfect stripes for this paper! I put each letter of the title on its own paper and drew a line around it. I also used my xacto to cut the patterned paper for the frame around the photo.
This sheet of paper felt really girly to me so I scrapbooked a few photos of Andrew and his cousin Kayla. I used the frame and painted it white. I added some of the super cool velvet flowers and leaves! I also used some of the droplets from KaiserCraft. They are a really cool embellishment!
Ezra is doing a great "cheese" now! I loved putting this photo in Sepia and then just cutting around this patterned paper. I used the rubons in different sections of the paper. These letters are pretty big so I overlapped them to make them fit better and I like the effect!

I have recently realized that I barely scrapbooked the year 2005. I found out I was pregnant with Ezra that year and I didn't scrap much so I am going back! Here are some pumpkin patch pictures from that year. This orange paper with the circles is one of my favorite pieces!
OK - Just so you know this is MY FAVORITE NEW PHOTO!! It may be on my Christmas Card so you may see this again. I took it with my new camera and love it. i wanted this page to be all about the photo! So I used the patterned paper with 6 droplets. I framed the photo with cardstock and added the title. Clean and simple!
Cameron is such a great sport about letting me take photos! He has a great smile and I love his eyes! I stapled the ribbon, punched out cirlces for the title and a few other circles of patterned paper. I also framed the side of the photo with the droplets. They are fun to use! Too bad it got cut off in the scan!
This is used from the November add-on. What you can't see in this scan is that the paper is full of glitter :) I love this photo from the kids hanging in the neighborhood! It was easy to scrap with this add-on!
This page is using the PaperTrunk Wrangler papers from our add-on! I am so lucky because my great friend, Carrie owns PaperTrunk as well as designs for PersonalScrapper! I get to be one of the lucky ones to see the papers before they come out :) :) This paper is fun to scrap with! My scanner scanned it more yellow than cream. I love all of the little patterns in this paper!!!
Well there you have it! So far I have done 7 with the kit and 2 with the add-on. I still have stuff left. The only thing I dipped into was another alphabet set from my stash but I still have enough to do a few more layouts.

A dedication to our Mama Hen
Mamahen (Melissa) has been a designer for PersonalScrapper.com for over 2 years! I am proud to say that Melissa was one of my very first members almost 5 years ago! So we have been scrapping together for years!!! Melissa has a very unique and cool quality to her layouts! I always enjoy all of the different techniques and topics that she scraps.
Her husband is going to school and pursuing his dream of opening his own business. She is being pulled in a lot of directions and had to resign from PersonalScrapper.com. We will miss Melissa on our team! I have loved getting to know her better through our message board, shows (especially Seattle!) and kit nights! She will still be online so she isn't going anywhere.
I am fortunate to have Melissa as a friend! Since we have been friends we have gone from 1 son to 5 sons between the 2 of us! She has a very kind heart and i wish we lived closer so we could hang out and let our little boys play!
Here are a few of her layouts from the past few months:
